The Toorx Bluetooth SMART heart rate monitor can measure your heart rate in three ways: over Bluetooth® SMART, at 5.3 kHz (open signal) or over ANT+. So there's no need to swap chest straps when you want to measure your heart rate a different way – the Toorx chest strap is three straps in one. On the open signal it has a range of around 80 cm; over Bluetooth that rises to a full 10 metres. The strap picks up your heart rate automatically and sends the signal to the receiver.
