The elliptical motion technology of the recumbent ergometer lets you change direction easily and intuitively as you pedal. Stepping forwards or backwards works different leg muscles. At the same time, changes in movement promote intramuscular coordination and actively train movement patterns. The change of direction can also be initiated with the arms through resistance.

App support: your personal trainer

With its Bluetooth interface and Inspire app connectivity, the Cardio Strider 3.1 gives you more motivation to reach your goals. Track your progress through the training diary. Stream live workouts to your phone, TV, tablet or computer, wherever and whenever you want.

The Quick-Lock system helps you rotate the handles, which are steplessly adjustable like the comfort seat. A scale on the handlebars helps you set the handle length accurately every time. That lets you switch from chest and triceps work to back and biceps work in moments.

The static handlebars on the Cardio Strider let you check your heart rate at any point via the integrated pulse sensors.

High intensity meets low joint load

The Cardio Strider 3.1 performs across the board. Upper and lower body training can be done separately: place your feet on the footrest to isolate the upper body, or give your arms a break while your legs do the work.

The 10 preset programmes comprise 6 automatic resistance programmes (gentle hill, plateau, mountain climb and interval), 2 focus programmes (upper body, lower body) and 2 heart rate programmes (fat burning at 65% max HR and cardio at 80% max HR), giving you variety and motivation.

Resistance system

The 40-level frictionless electromagnetic resistance system (induction), with an ultra-light entry level of 10 watts and a silent grooved belt drive, protects the foot and knee joints and gives you the range you need to train late in the evening in a rented flat. Precision ball bearings on every axle keep operation extremely quiet.

The very short pedal plate spacing and a scale let you place your feet hip-width apart and train in an optimal joint position.
