A slam ball has to absorb impact and must not bounce away in all directions after a throw. The Centr x HYROX Perform Series Slam Ball combines a rubber outer layer with a sand filling. That gives it the feel of dead weight and a predictable response off the floor, so you can move straight into the next repetition.

Training with the slam ball

Think overhead slams, rotational throws and explosive conditioning work. The ball suits home gyms, HYROX Training Zones and functional training spaces. Choose a weight that lets you perform every slam or throw under control, and move up to a heavier ball once that feels comfortable.
