Body-Solid Slam Balls are made for strength athletes who want a bit of cardio in their routine. Training with a slam ball means using your whole body in one movement. It builds the core, improves your fitness and develops explosive power. Slam ball exercises aren't complicated, and they suit beginners too.

Slam balls don't roll, don't bounce, and are built specifically for intensive use. Think hard throws into the floor (slams) or against a wall – exercises you wouldn't readily do with an ordinary exercise ball or medicine ball. The outside of a slam ball is a thick layer of hard-wearing rubber, designed to absorb heavy impacts. The outer surface of the Body-Solid slam balls feels rough; it carries a textured pattern that improves your grip.

You can of course use a slam ball for traditional medicine ball exercises too, such as lifts and wood chops.
