Our Schwinn 800IC spin bike is compatible with the Zwift app.
In this blog, you'll get a step-by-step guide on how to connect the app to your Schwinn IC8 spinner!
1. Download the Zwift App
This is available for both IOS and Android.
Please note, first or second-generation iPads are sometimes not fast enough to connect.
Also, always make sure the app is up to date.
In your phone's settings, turn on Bluetooth.
2. Open Zwift
You'll see a few features, navigate through them.

3. Create an account on the app

4. Provide some information about yourself; you can always change this later in your profile

5. You will get a pop-up that Zwift wants access to Bluetooth
definitely accept this! If you don't, you'll have to re-approve it through your phone's settings.

6. Click on Power Source on the Left
Also, make sure you have selected Ride at the top and not Run.

7. Once you have selected the IC8, you will see the screen below
It will say IC bike; if this is the case, you have made the connection, you can test this by cycling. The RPM and Watt must match what you see on the display of your Schwinn IC8.
Optionally, you can also connect a heart rate monitor. View an overview of our heart rate monitors here.

8. After clicking LET'S Go, you immediately start a 25 km route
you can adjust everything to your liking via settings.

9. You're off! Have fun training!
The IC8 also works with RideSocial, and we have a blog about that too! You can read it here
